Hamlet
by Susanne Dubroff

A flash
       of those dark rivers
                on which Ophelia
       floats like the truth.
And that maddened boy, the old
       knife in his teeth,
look! he’s taking all the verbs;
Gertrude’s flouncing off the stage.
